I am a wife, mother and Mamaw to five grandchildren,
Christian conservative Republican, avid animal rescuer.
Kimberly’s family is made up of first responders, entrepreneurs
and military personnel where serving others is a way of life.
For more than 25 years, Kimberly Glenn has been an entrepreneur, a woman-owned small business owner and has worked in the real estate industry for over 22 years. As an affiliate broker and principal broker, Kimberly has successfully led two firms and helped families and businesses across Knox County. Her experience in the private sector as an entrepreneur has given her a strong understanding of growth, development, and the real-world challenges that families and small business owners face every day. For the past 7ó years, Kimberly has served as Communications Director for the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, also working as the Governmental Affairs Liaison. Her
responsibilities include media relations, public information, and crisis communication, ensuring that timely information is shared with the community during critical events. In this role, she has built strong working relationships across local and state government, law enforcement, and community organizations, helping to bridge the gap between public safety, policy, and the people they serve. Kimberly, with the blessing of Sheriff Tom Spangler, spearheaded fundraising efforts for what is now the Officer and Employee Assistance Fund to support officers and employees during times of medical and financial
hardship. She actively supports local animal shelters and rescues, the Care Cuts ministry, which serves the homeless by hosting drives for basic needs, and Shop with a Cop, which benefits local children through a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club. Kimberly serves on the board of directors with the Hope Well Foundation, which assists
individuals seeking a better way of life free from drugs and alcohol. Through this work, she continues her commitment to second chances, recovery, and stronger, healthier communities, which also help reduce recidivism rates. Additionally, she serves as a fundraising liaison with Blue Line Tennessee, Inc., a 501(c)(3). Blue Line assists the families of officers across Tennessee who suffer a line-of-duty loss or
face a career altering injury. Serving the community has been a way of life. Kimberly will bring her strong work ethic and problem-solving skills to the Knox County Commission, At-Large Seat 10. She will
work with both government officials and the private sector to find solutions that benefit the taxpayers of Knox County.
1. Community – Protecting the character of our neighborhoods, supporting our
schools, churches, and small businesses, and making sure residents are heard and respected.
2. Opportunity – Promoting smart growth, good jobs, and responsible development so our children and grandchildren can afford to live, work, and raise their families here.
3. Public Safety – Standing firmly with law enforcement, first responders, and victims, and making sure they have the tools and support they need to keep our community safe.
I’m running because I want to ensure a better Knox County for our grandchildren and your family too.
